About Us

At Business Cares, we believe in the transformative power of partnerships. Our mission is to bridge the gap between for-profit enterprises and nonprofit organizations, fostering
collaborations that amplify social impact across diverse causes. Through strategic alliances, we aim to channel resources, expertise, and innovation from the business sector to support and uplift communities in need.

Our Story

Founded in 2012 by Raymond P. Medeiros, Business Cares was born out of a vision to leverage business acumen for the greater good. At 64, as Mr. Medeiros contemplated
retirement, he recognized an opportunity to apply his extensive experience in revitalizing struggling businesses to the nonprofit sector. Although initial activities were limited due to his ongoing professional commitments, the organization has recently undergone a renaissance.

With a renewed focus and a dedicated Board of Directors, Business Cares is now fully operational, channeling Mr. Medeiros’s passion for social issues into actionable programs that make a tangible difference.

What We Do

Business Cares specializes in facilitating cause marketing partnerships between businesses and nonprofits. Cause marketing involves collaborations where both entities work together for mutual benefit—businesses gain positive public relations and customer loyalty, while nonprofits receive financial support and increased visibility. This symbiotic relationship enables us to address a wide array of social issues effectively.
